Breastfeeding room at Koyambedu Omni Bus Terminus

Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa inaugurated the breastfeeding rooms facility set up at the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in Koyambedu. The breastfeeding rooms CMBT are fully air conditioned and also have nurses to assist the mothers. This exclusive facility for women functions 24 hours. This has been a great success.
Yesterday the breast feeding fully air-conditioned facilities was inaugurated in the Omni bus terminus. N. Srinivasa Rao, Superintending Engineer of CMDA inaugurated this facility.
For the security of the breast feeding mothers women security has been deployed around the clock.
Speaking about this facility, Omni Bus Owners State Treasurer Maran said, From this Chennai Terminus, 350 buses are being operated every day. 10 thousand passengers come and go. Ladies who travel long distance wait for the buses in this terminal. There are lots of mothers with their babies. CMDA has provided a separate room for breast feeding mothers. This is a very appreciable deed. Now mothers need not be reluctant to feed their babies. They can quench their babies hunger in this room. It is gives us immense happiness for helping mothers feed their kids.
