In the recent list of countries with the best business environment, India has advanced by 12 places and has reached 130th position.
This list has been released by World Bank from Washington.
World Bank`s Chief Economics Expert, Mr. Kaushik Basu, informed that the growth within a short period of 1 year after the implementation economic reforms is a significant achievement.
If the economic reforms are carried out at the current pace, it is very likely that India might break into the top 100 countries.
Mr. Kaushik Basu had served as India`s Chief Economic Adviser with the earlier Prime Minister, Mr. Manmohan Singh`s government.
