Rain in Chennai crosses 5 cm already and Chennai Meteorological Center announces that Chennai and Other parts of Tamilnadu will receive Heavy rain.
Deep Depression is formed near Pondicherry. So the rain may become intensify by this night. We can expect more rain on Diwali eve, says Met center officers.
Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore Districts and Pudhucherry are also announced leave on Monday.
