LPG refills payment ca be made online soon: Software under test!

Good news for LPG Gs consumers: the 3 major LPG firms, IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL are carrying out the testing of software in Pune that would facilitate the consumers to make online booking for LPG Gas cylinders!
Reliable sources informed that the software would be ready for operation in a month.
Some HPCL customer who registered online, have already started making online payments for booking LPG cylinders. They found this very convenient as they need not search for cash when the delivery arrives.
Currently, refill booking is done through IVRS via mobile phones.
A consumer activist expressed that the facility for current mode of cash payment should continue as many customers may not be in a position to pay online.
