Heavy Showers Flush out Major Roads of Chennai

Heavy showers are flushing out the city all over! In Chennai, Kotturpuram area is badly affected by the rainfall and looks flooded leaving people perplexed on how to carry out their routine day-to-day activities!
Mandaveli area is floating in water to such an extent that people can only use boats for their transportation needs.
Is that Raj Bhavan or a fort? Raj Bhavan at Guindy is seen amidst flood of water! There is heavy water stagnation in places including Thiruvanmiyur, particularly on Thiruvanmiyur Salai where there is water stagnation for about 3 feet. There prevails similar condition at South Avenue and Kamarajar Salai as well.
Radhakrishnan Nagar is suspended over a flood of water blocking all its residents from heading to T.Nagar. The roadway leading to the Chennai Airport is completely blocked with severe traffic jam. Believe it or not, one of the major roads in suburban Chennai - the OMR or Rajiv Gandhi Salai is flooded too. The condition at Santhome is even worse.
T.Nagar, Vijayaraghava road, Nair road, GN Chetty road have got no exception and look flooded too.
