Chennai Schools and Colleges remain closed on 24th Nov 2015

The low pressure on Maldives continues to prevail on the same space. This is likely to bring heavy rainfall across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in the next 24 hours. In a few places, intense showers are expected.
Chennai will have a cloudy weather and a few areas may receive rainfall, say sources from Chennai metrological department.
Chennai is presently receiving heavy rainfall and the same is expected tomorrow as well. District collectors in Chennai , Tiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts have declared holiday for all schools and colleges tomorrow.
To note, all the schools and colleges have been shut since Diwali owing to southeast monsoon rainfall..
