Special trains for Christmas, New Year, Irumudi & Pongal festivals

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festivals.
1. Tri-weekly special trains between Coimbatore - Chengalpattu
Train No.06144 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu tri-weekly special train will leave Coimbatore at 22.50 hrs. on 03rd, 06th, 08th 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 24th, 27th, 29th & 31st December, 2015 and 03rd, 05th, 07th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 17th, 19th & 21st January, 2016 and reach Chengalpattu at 08.00 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06145 Chengalpattu - Coimbatore tri-weekly special train will leave Chengalpattu at 17.00 hrs. on 04th, 07th, 09th, 11th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 28th & 30th December, 2015 and 01st, 04th, 06th, 08th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 20th & 22nd January, 2016 and reach Coimbatore at 02.30 hrs. the next day.
Composition: Sleeper Class - 5, Second Class Chair Car - 2, General Second Class - 9 & Luggage-cum-brake van - 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Somanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.
2. Weekly special trains between Visakhapatnam - Kollam
Train No.08567 Visakhapatnam - Kollam special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 23.00 hrs. on Sundays from 29.11.2015 to 24.01.2016 and reach Kollam at 06.00 hrs. on Tuesdays.
Train No.08568 Kollam - Visakhapatnam special train will leave Kollam at 09.40 hrs. on Tuesdays from 01.12.2015 to 26.01.2016 and reach Visakhapatnam at 13.45 hrs. on Wednesdays.
Composition: AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 1, Sleeper Class – 4, General Second Class – 12 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam.
Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 28.11.2015.
