SBI ,HDFC & ICICI Waive off Late Payment Penalty

Heavy rainfall and flood have put the lives of Chennaites upside-down! The routine lives were washed away and people are dipped in distress. As a sign of extending their help to the affected people, banks have come forward to waive off penalty on late payment of EMI.
The initiative was taken by HDFC bank following which ICICI bank has also come forward with the same. As per the announcement made by ICICI, if there is any delay in paying the November month due for housing loan, loan taken for home appliances, or others, there will be no penalty as late fee. Furthermore, there will be no penalty if the cheque deposited gets bounced.
Following the footsteps of HDFC and ICICI, the government bank, SBi has also announced to waive off penalty for late payments of November and December due.
