Free Chlorine tablets & bleaching powder for all houses affected by flood

Each family affected by the recent floods in Chennai city will be given half-kg bleaching powder and 20 chlorine tablets free.
The chlorine tablets can be used in the drinking water stored at 1 tablet a day.
Bleaching powder is meant to be used in the sumps and surrounding areas.
100 autos are being deployed to distribute these items and also to create awareness among the public from a health-inspector with a loud-speaker in each auto.
