Nadigar Sangam invites CM

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha has given her nod to take part at the inaugural ceremony of South Indian Nadigar Sangam, said actor Karunas.
The Nadigar Sangam has contributed a sum of Rs 17,10,25,000 towards relief and rehabilitation of flood-hit people of Tamil Nadu today (11th January 2016). On behalf of the Actors Association, president Nasser handed over Rs 1,10,25,000 to the Chief Minister.
Speaking about their meeting with the Chief Minister, the vice president of the Nadigar Sangam said Rs one crore and ten lakh rupees was donated as flood relief fund. President Nassar and General Secretary Vishal placed their cordial invite for her to take part at the inaugural ceremony of South Indian Nadigar Sangam. The CM agreed to the same and confirmed her presence for the Bhoomi Pooja (special pooja performed before laying foundation for a building).
