Chennai Schools begin admission

The Chennai Corporation on Wednesday started admission of new students in corpration schools.
Participating in a function organised at Chennai High School, Wall Tax Road, Mayor M.Subramanian said that Chennai Schools would remain open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for admission of students.
This year Chennai Schools registered a pass percentage of 86.33 in SSLC and 85.33 in Higher Secondary public examination last year. Over 1.03 lakh students are studying in the 281 Chennai Schools.
