Sale of meat prohibited in Chennai on Jan 24

The Chennai Corporation has prohibited supermarkets, shopping malls, and departmental stores from selling meat on Vadalur Ramalingar Memorial Day on January 24.
The Chennai Corporation has mentioned that slaughter of animals or sale of meat is prohibited according to a government order and merchants are required to provide full cooperation.
