Air pollution levels is increasing to exorbitant levels due to smoke and pollution caused by vehicles across cities. The central government is devising plans to control these pollution levels. As per the orders by central governments, a ban is imposed on vehicles with more than 2000CC capacity until March this year. This has given rise to severe dip in sale of diesel vehicles in Delhi, Noida and a few other capital cities. Mercedes Benz that has 20 percent of its sale in these cities has commented on this move. Jaguar Land Rover has commented about this stating that the pollution given out by their cars are far lesser than suspended particles and pollution in Delhi. This new rule is a fun, the brand added. Regardless of all stones thrown at the move, the central government is ardent about its move and continues to take measures to implement the same.
