The dairy products manufacture Hatsun, which sells its Arokya range of products, has increased the price of milk by Rs. 2/- per litre with effect from 10th February.
Hatsun has made this Rs. 2/- increase in all the 3 kinds of milk they sell.
Full Cream Milk price is up from Rs. 48/- to Rs. 50/- per litre.
Balanced milk price is up from Rs. 44/- to Rs. 46/- per litre.
Toned milk price is up from Rs. 40/- to Rs. 42/-.
The price of 200 ml packet has been increased from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 11/-,
With this decision by the leading Diary Company Hatsun to increase the prices, it is expected that other dairy companies will also follow suit to increase their rates.
However, despite this change announced by Hatsun, there is no price change in Aavin milk. It is worth noting here that Aavin prices are already less by Rs. 2/- per litre.
For the card holders, blue color 1-litre milk packet is sold at Rs. 34/-. If compared, the Aavin price is lesser by Rs. 8/-.
Aavin Milk cards are beign distributed freely everywhere.
An Aavin official informed if the application for card is given with proof of residence, cards will be processed and given immediately.
