Mobile medical units launched by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa

In the State Assembly, The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on 12-08-14 had announced that she will be launching 15 mobile medical units in Chennai and 35 mobile medical units in other districts for the benefits of labourers who work in bridge sites, roads and building constructions.
The mini hospitals are equipped with laboratories for diagnostic analysis and for emergency medication, and is manned by one doctor, one staff nurse and one sanitary worker
