Opportunity to register of membership for the welfare boards

Registration of membership for the welfare boards would be done at the Chennai CIT Nagar 3rd Main Road, Nandanam according to K. Govindaraj District Collector. The special camp will be held on 25th between 10.30 AM and 5 P M.
In a statement released here, the Collector has stated that the enrolment would be done for the Tamil Nadu Construction Workers Welfare Board and the Tamil Nadu Manual Labourers’ Welfare Board.
Domestic helps, cooks, barbers, washer men, those driving autorickshaws, taxis and Lorries, those delivering cooking gas cylinders, pot makers and printing press employees and so on could register their names with these boards.
For the purpose, they would have to bring two passport size photographs and photo copy of the ration cards.
Those who have failed to renew their membership could also utilize the opportunity to figure in the live register.
