Description : The musical extravaganza to honour of legendary musician from Bengal, Manabendra Mukherjee, Raag, Roop Aur Raang will showcase two of the most versatile singers- Chitravina N. Ravikiran and Kaushiki Chakrabarty. The show will be a magical soiree of Raaga and Melharmony.
Chitravina N. Ravikiran is an Indian musician, considered as one of the most remarkable slide instrumentalist and classical vocalist. An author and orator, he is also the creator of the concept Melharmony in world music.
Daughter of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, Kaushiki is a classical vocalist and is trained in gayaki style of the Patiala gharana. Her singing repertoire covers Khayals and Thumris, which in Hindustani music are `semi-classical` or `light classical` styles.
