New regulations for students writing 12th Standard examinations

The State Government Public Examinations for 12th Standard commence on 4th March and conclude on 1st April.

10th standard Public Examinations start on 15th March and end on 13th April.

The department of education has imposed some new regulations for the students writing 10th & 12th Standard Public Examinations:
·         Cell phones are banned in the examination centre complex. So, all school students and private candidates must not bring their cell-phones.

·         The incidence of any student striking off all his/her answers in the answer-sheet will be deemed as an unlawful act.The result of the concerned student will be blocked and he/she will not permitted for the examinations in the next 2 subsequent sessions.

·         For +2 Tamil & English examinations, a ruled answer-sheet of 30 pages will be given. For Botany, Zoology, etc., 22-pages answer-sheets will be given. For Science & Mathematics, OMR sheet for 75 marks and a 30-page answer-sheet will be given.

·         For the Accountancy Paper, an answer-sheet with unruled 14 pages (from page 1 to page 14) and ruled sheets (from page 15  to page 30) will be given. For all other examinations, 38-page answer-sheets will be given.

·         When the answer-sheets are being distributed, the students should immediately check the same and confirm the above. They have to check the covering sheet details including the photograph, name, subject, language medium of instruction, etc. They must not mention their examination number of name in any section of the answer-sheet.

·         In case certain answers needed to be struck off, the student should write the remark ‘this answer has been voluntarily struck off by me’ with pen.
