TN Government replies over issuing pattas

Tamil Nadu Government is now said to follow the orders given by Madras High Court over issuing patta`s and holding them while the houses are located over water bodies.
A PIL has been filed at Madras High Court stating that TN Government is issuing pattas and regularizing the encroachments over water bodies and other catchment locations. However Madras High Court has issued an order stating that practice should be stopped by the Government further.
Madras High Court also directed that TN Government to safeguard water bodies and also to maintain ecological balance all the way. Siva kasi Vattara Vari Seluthuor Sangam has said to be filed the PIL.
