The prominent fine dining restaurant Spice Jar known for its North Indian and Mughlai cuisines will showcase an exclusive Lucknowi Food Festival for 10 days. One of the most rich and exotic cuisines in our country that came into existance during the Nawab era, Lucknowi cuisine derives its influences from Moghalia, Awadh, Nawabi and North West Frontier cuisines. Chef Mukhtar keeps the authenticity of the cuisine intact through a magical blend of spices and slow fire cooking.
From among the non-vegetarian appetizers, there are traditional delicacies like Murgh Gilafi Kebab, the vegetarian Hara Tawa Kebab and Soya Bean ka Shami to choose from. The popular traditional bread Ulta Tawa Paratha will also be served. There will be Kachchi Biryani, which blends rice, chicken and a mix of aromatic spices slow cooked together to infuse a dense flavor. The Chilman Biryani is another vegetarian must try recipe comprising black chana, corn and paneer with dry fruits added to it. From the main course, there will be delectable dishes like Nihari Gosht, Masalewali Machli and Lagan Murgh. The vegetarian section is equally elaborate with selections like Subz Kadha Masala, Dal Gomti, Paneer Lazzatdar and Arbi ka Salan.
The desserts include Shahi Tukra, Anar Zarda, Zafrani Kheer, Sheer Kurma and Sewayian for a sumptuous dining experience. The buffet will be available for both lunch and dinner.
