Twitters character limit to stay

In the wake of expectations of Twitter`s change of character limit, the company has said that the limit is to stay. The announcement caused much joy to die hard twitter fans who hoped that the limit was here to stay.
Speaking about this, a senior official of Twitter said, The company will keep tweets at 140 characters. It`s staying. It`s a good constraint for us. It allows for of-the-moment brevity.
Twitter has been hesitant to make drastic changes for fear of losing some of its most active users. However, the company has been facing mounting pressure from Wall Street to attract more people to the social platform. Said the official, We`re changing a lot. We`re always going to make Twitter better.
