Supply disrupted in Thermal Power Plant in North Chennai

Since the boiler tube at Thiruvallur District Athipattu, North Chennai is under repair, the supply of 210 mega watt has been disrupted.
At North Chennai Thermal Power plant located in Pudhu Nagar, Athipattu, and Thiruvallur District, 1200 mega watts power is being produced daily in the five units.
At this juncture in the first of the second unit the boiler tube were under repair. Hence 210 mega watts power supply has been affected.
Electricity officials are attending to this fault and very soon this will be rectified.
