TN CEO Rajesh Lakhoni holds meeting with political parties

Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni held a meeting with representatives of various political parties and advised them to avoid personal attacks during campaign.
Rajesh Lakhoni advised the parties to avoid personal attacks against members of other party members and confine their criticisms to party principles. The meeting was convened by to discuss complaints of violation of the model code of conduct and election expenditure.
Representatives from each party presented their grievances to Mr Lakhoni and sought clarification on the action taken by the EC on various issues.
