63rd national awards announced - Bahubali gets best feature film

Every year National Awards are announced for the best films and actors by the central Government of India. Today the 63rd National Film Awards were announced.
SS Rajamouli`s fantasy epic Baahubali bagged the top honour at the 63rd National Film Awards. Baahubali - which features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and some of the best VFX seen in the Indian film industry so far had become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2015. Amitabh Bachchan got the best actor award for acting in the film Piku. This is the fourth time he is getting the National Award.
The best actress award was bagged by Kangana Rawat. She was granted this award for her double role in Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Best Director was conferred on Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Bajirao Mastani.
