Regional Meteorological Department Ramanan to retire on March 31

Whenever we think of weather, only Ramanan will come into our minds. It would be right if we say that he had close relations with weather. During the cyclone periods, he will come to the office even on holidays to speak to the media. Now that Director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre S.R.Ramanan of Regional Meteorological Department, will end his 36-year-long career on March 31, the month he turned 60.
Ramanan has mentioned that after his retirement he will be giving lectures about weather in colleges and schools.
