Pensioners and family pensioners should submit their live certificates before June

Department of Treasuries and Accounts has announced that pensioners and family pensioners should submit their live certificates before June or otherwise the pension will be stopped during the month of August.
Family pensioners are required to produce non re-marriage certificate along with the above documents.
Pensioners who are unable to appear in person can send the life certificate along with copies of the documents.
The life certificate should be attested by the bank manager of the pension receiving branch, gazetted officers of the State or Central governments or officers in the rank of tahsildhar, deputy tahsildhar or revenue inspector.
The payment would be stopped from August 15 for those who failed to appear for the annual mustering or furnish the life certificate till June 30.
The format of life certificate and non-re-marriage certificate could be downloaded from www.tn.gov.in/karuvoolam.
