New Rs. 10 coins honouroing Dr. Ambedkar on 125th Birth Anniversary

The central government has announced that commemorating the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr, Baba Saheb Ambedkar, new Rs. 10 coins will be released with his figure.
A release from the central government`s Press Information Centre informs that commemorating the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar, the Reserve Bank of India has planned to release new Rs. 10 coins (made of Aluminium & bronze alloy on the external part and Copper-Nickel on the central part) bearing his figure.
One side of the new Rs. 10 coin will have Ashoka Stupa and Dr. Amedkar`s figure on the other side with the inscription 125th BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF Dr.B.R.AMBEDKAR in both English & Hindi.
