Free high-speed Wi-Fi internet service was provided in Mumbai Central Railway Station last year. This service has been provided by RailTel (owned by Indian Railways) in a joint operation with Google.
Now, Google has decided to provide this free high-speed Wi-Fi internet at 10 more Railway Stations in India.
The stations are Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Ranchi, Raipur, Vijayawada, Kacheguda, Ernakulam, and Visakhapatnam.
In the first phase of this plan, free high-speed Wi-Fi internet service will be provided at Bhubaneshwar Railway Station in Odisha.
The waiting passengers can enjoy even high-quality HD video clips if they have a smartphone.
It is noteworthy that there are plans to provide this Wi-Fi facility in 100 Railway Stations before the end of this year.
