Special sales unit inaugurated at Central Cottage Industries, Nandanam

In the sales centre at Central Cottage Industries, Nandanam, a special unit for handloom sarees was inaugurated on Friday.
Famous Bharatanatyam exponent Chitra Visweswaran inaugurated this special unit. Additional General Manager while speaking on this occasion said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled India Handloom brand for better market positioning of quality handloom products on August 7,2015 at a mega event to mark the first-ever National Handloom Day in Chennai.
In continuation of this, handloom clothes are being showcased in large numbers in the showroom of Central Cottage Industries. After Delhi, this special sales unit has been inaugurated in Chennai. The products range from Sarees: Mangalagiri, Venkatagiri, Balrampuram, Maheshwari, Kota Doria, Pochampalli, Banaras Tanchoi Silk, Banarasi Buti Silk; Fabrics: Banaras Tanchoi Silk, Banaras Cut-Work, Plain Tussar, Ikat, Pochampalli; Kullu Shawls and Pochampalli Bedspreads will be available on competitive price for public.
