TN law minister Isakki Subbiah Sacked; Senthoor Pandian appointed as new minister

TN law minister Isakki Subbiah has been sacked from Jayalalitha ministry. Senthoor Pandian has been appointed as new minister. Some more ministers`s departments have also been shifted by CM Jayalalitha.

In her latest reshuffle, the second within 50 days of assuming office in May, Subbaiah was relieved of his charge and information minister G Senthamizhan entrusted additional charge of law, courts and prisons. 

Meanwhile, P. Chendur Pandian, a legislator from Kadayanallur constituency, has been inducted as the khadi and village industries minister. He will be sworn-in Monday at Raj Bhavan.

The portfolio is currently held by B.V. Ramana, who will continue to be the minister for handloom and textiles.

Food Minister Agri S.S. Krishnamoorthy will now be the commercial taxes and registration minister and Tourism Minister Budhichandhiran will take over as food minister.

Commercial Taxes and Registration Minister S. Gokula Indira will now look after tourism.
