Free Marriage function to be organised at Tirupathi Temple from 25th April

Devotees strongly believe that all their evil wards would be driven off if the marriage is performed at Tirupathi temple.
So, thousands of couples arrange their marriage at Tirupathi.
There is marriage dais at Thirumalai near the Papavinasam Theertham. For the marriages performed here, TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam) arranges the priests and the Nadhaswaram band.Rs. 500/- for the priests. 300/- for the music band, and Rs. 60/- as electricity charges for video are being collected by TTD.
TTD had been exploring whether this can be rendered as a free service.TTD has now decided to introduce the free service for marriage from 25th April.
In addition, arrangements for quick Darshan for the bridal couple and their parents are also made. They can have the Darshan of the Lord through Subadham.
TTD CEO Mr. Sambasiva Rao informed this. He added that TTD is also considering some changes in this free marriage service.
A packet of turmeric, vermillion, and Kanganam (wrist band) and a small laddu will be offered.
A special option will be provided for online booking of marriage. The possibility of offering all items required for the marriage function free of charge is also being explored.
