Public can inform about money hoarding: Chief Election officer Rajesh Lakhani

Tamil Nadu Chief Election officer Rajesh Lakhani has mentioned that the public can inform about money hoarding and the details will be kept secret.  
 
At a time when only 20 days is remaining for the State Assembly elections, election complaints are coming in large numbers. Day before yesterday a complaint was made on online stating that money has been hoarded in a house in Egmore for distribution of money to lure voters. Based on this the IT sleuths raided the place and seized an amount of Rs 4 Crores 72 Lakhs. 

Similarly there is hoarding of money in many places. Based on the information the raids are being conducted.  At this juncture Tamil Nadu Chief Election officer  Rajesh Lakhani has mentioned that public can make complaints against money hoarding and the information provided will be kept secret. To monitor election expenditure 124 overseers have started their work. Earlier 12 overseers was deployed for this job. They were supposed to complete their work and return on 24th but the election commission has ordered them to work till 29th. Apart from this the election commissioner is holding talks with the district SPs through video conferencing.
