CBSE - students who did not write NEET will not be eligible for MBBS and BDS courses

CBSE has announced that 3250 students who did not write the first phase of NEET examinations will not be eligible to join the MBBS and BDS course.
 
CBSE had conducted NEET examinations to join the MBBS and BDS courses on 1st May. Nearly 6 lakhs students throughout the country wrote the examinations in 1040 centres in 52 cities. 26750 students had applied for this examination. Out of this 26,750 students only 22,750 students have written examinations.3250 students who have not written the examinations will not be eligible for MBBS and BDS courses.

As per the orders of the Supreme Court of India on last 28th ,the National Eligible Entrance Examinations for MBBS and BDS courses were to be conducted. As a first phase, it was decided to conduct the examinations on 1st May. Those who had applied and those who have missed the 1st May examinations will not be allowed to write the second phase examinations on 24th July. Those who had applied for the first phase examinations are only eligible to write the second phase examinations. 8 percent of the students who have not written the examinations will not be eligible for MBBS and BDS courses. The results will be announced on 17th August.
 
SDPGA association`s Dr A Ramalingam speaking about these examinations said: Because of this NEET examinations, Tamil Nadu students have been deeply affected. The Tamil Nadu Government has filed a petition against this. 8 percent students who have not written the examinations will be eligible for the course only if the Supreme Court’s cancels its orders.
