Colour Aadhar cards for physically disabled people

The Central Government had decided to issue colour Aadhar cards for physically disabled people.
This will be legal document and for easy linkage to the government`s schemes and services. The card will be marked by three different colours - red, blue and yellow to indicate the degree of disability. First Unique Disabled Identity (UDID) cards are likely to be delivered in August in Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, which is the chosen district for the pilot project.
According to 2011 census, there are 2.68 Crores of disabled people.
