Rabi Bernard elected for Rajya Sabha

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) nominee A. William Rabi Bernard has been declared elected to the Rajya Sabha constituency from the State to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of K.V. Ramalingam on becoming Public Works Minister in the State government.
Bernard received the certificate of election from Returning Officer and Assembly Secretary A.M. P. Jamaludeen. Later, he called on Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa and got the blessings from her.
