CBI announces Rs 1 lakh cash reward

 The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing into the death of S Satish Kumar, son of Madras High Court advocate R Sankara Subbu , has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information on those responsible.

According to the case, Kumar left his home on his two-wheeler on June 7 and did not return. His motorcycle was found abandoned near ICF North Colony road on June 9 and body fished out of the ICF tank on June 13. Postmortem report revealed that Kumar died due to a neck injury caused by a sharp weapon.

The CBI, in a release, said the identity of the informer would be kept secret and those possessing credible information in connection with the case could contact the Superintendent of Police, CBI, Special Crimes Branch at 044-24916341 or the Inspector of Police, CBI, Special Crimes Branch at 044- 24917144/ 044- 24468416/ 9840722173/ 9840088366.
