A comparison of the last 3 years of pass percentage of 10th standard examination results reveals a remarkable aspect – the percentage of pass of the boy students has grown remarkably.
The results of 10th standard examinations were released today (Wednesday, 25th May).
The usual trend of the girl students exceeding boys in percentage pass was also established.
Another analysis reveals that the comparison of the percentage pass of the girls with that of boys has increased remarkably.
The pass percentage of boys in 10th standard was 88.0 percent in 2014. It was 90.5 percent in 2015. This year (2016), it is 91.3 percent. This amounts to an increase of 8 percent as compared to 3 years ago.
As compared to this, the pass percentage of the girl students was 93.6 percent in 2014. It was 95.4 percent in 2015. It is 95.9 percent in 2016.
The pass percentage of girl students has increased only by 0.5 percent as compared to the last year. However, it has increased by 0.8 percent for the boy students.
So, it is remarkable to note that the pass percentage of boy students has been steadily increasing over the last 3 years.
