The seasoned fashion designer Ritu Kumar will present an exhibition of her collection titled `Revivalist` which takes its inspiration from one of the oldest living centers of brocade manufacture in India, Benaras offering impeccably decorative designs ranging from the geometric to the highly stylized floral and faunal representations spanning over centuries of Indian history. The summery textiles have been adorned with gold bootimotifs giving the fabrics a subtle metallic sheen, brought into modern context with kurtas, jackets, shirts and palazzos.
