ICF manufactures highest ever number of coaches in 2015 - 16

The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Perambur has manufactured 50000 fully furnished coaches and 2000 coaches in the financial year 2015 - 16. This is the highest in its history. This year, the ICF also completed a fully air conditioned 12 car rake for the Mumbai suburban network of Central railway.
The Factory also introduced fixing Braille signages for the help of physically challenged passengers and also provided improved ladders in air-conditioned coaches.
