Actor Ravichandran passed away

Yesteryear Tamil actor Ravichandran died on Monday at a private hospital in Chennai where he was being treated for a lung infection. Doctors said he did not respond to treatment and his condition had deteriorated over the last two days. He was on a life support system.
Ravichandran started his journey as an actor with `Kadhalikka Neramillai` in 1964, and remained a much sought after actor of those days. Despite playing lead roles in the 60s and 70s, he continued acting until recently and sported pivotal supporting roles in many Tamil films.
