MBBS and BDS applications exceed 20,000; revaluation of Plus 2 marks to begin this week

The selection committee for MBBS and BDS courses have received more than 20,000 applications. There is only one more day to go for receipt of the applications for admissions into colleges. The distribution of applications began on May 26. As on close of sale on Monday, 24,100 applications had been sold for MBBS counselling this year. 

Say sources at the selection committee, Students should send their filled in applications before Tuesday (June 7). So far we have received 20,829 applications. After scrutinising the applications, the rank list based on the plus 2 cut off marks for MBBS courses will be released on June 17. The first phase of counselling will begin on June 20. 

The plays 2 answer sheet revaluation and re totalling work will begin this week. This work will be conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE). A total of 8.3 lakh students write their plus 2 exams this year. Of these, more than 90,000 have applied for the copy of the plus 2 answer scripts. Centums in maths and physics were also low this year compared to other years. However, the number of centums in chemistry was more than double. 

Say officials at the DGE, We are yet to receive the details of the number of students who have applied for revaluation and re totalling. After receiving details we will start the work this week itself.
