New format for Common Admission Test 2011

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is getting a format makeover. The CAT which holds the key to the 13 IIMs and other major B-schools in the country.
# Test Date from October 22 2011 to November 18 2011
What`s new:
# Duration for each section 70 minutes. Totally 140 minutes. (5 minutes increase from previous year)
# Number of Sections reduced to 2 namely a) Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, b) Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
# 3 more test centers added. Bhilai, Jammu and Dehra Dun added to existing 33 test locations
# One cannot go back and forth between section. One can move to next section only after 70 minutes and cannot come back to previous section
# Practice test will be released by Prometric in coming weeks
# CAT application forms in 201 Axis Bank branches. More details will be available on the website www.catiim.in by August 8, 2011.
