Satellites to be used for telecommunication needs

Telecommunications department and Telecom Regulatory Authority of India have together stated that telecommunication services are to be offered in the country using satellite technology. The centre is highly determined and focused in taking technical advancements across the country. One of the primary focuses is to provide telecommunication services. TRAI and telecommunication department have stated that rather than using mobile towers or wired means of providing telecommunication services, it is better to switch to satellites.
 
In his note in this regard, J.S. Deepak, the Telecom Secretary said satellites will provide excellent support in telecom services. This is the only means to wide-spread technology all across the country. Satellites are at present in use for a few schemes in this niche. The Bharat Net project for Lakshadweep is provided using satellites. The same can be implemented to extend telecom services to everyone.
 
R.S. Sharma, the chief of TRAI said we are misfortune for us to not use satellite as much as it should be used. If it is possible for us to make them work at affordable rates, all telecommunication needs can be fulfilled using satellites. Astrologers and telecommunication experts need to discuss in this regard.
 
4G services to reach over 45 percent users
 
In a recent research, it is found that high speed internet service, 4G will reach over 45 percent of Indian population by the year 2021. Within the same time period, 3G services will reach hands of 90 percent of the population. The present data usage per month is 1.4 GB. This is likely to surge up to 7GB by 2021. By that time, nearly 99 percent of internet usage will be made using mobile phones, the research adds.
