List of names getting ready for the post of RBI Governor

The task of appointment of the next governor of the Reserve Bank of India is in progress.
This is as per the recommendation of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
The Finance Policy Regulatory Board is preparing a list of the persons recommended for RBI Governor post.
This is the first time ever when the selection of the RBI Governor is being made after a the preparation of a list by a committee.
