Posted on: 15/Jun/2016 2:29:42 PM
Scientists from India and England are set to develop a robot to precisely predict rainfall. These robots are to be kept under the Bay of Bengal.

Unexpected seasonal rain showers cause devastating effects in the country. Necessary works to prevent such rainfall by taking preventing measures are being done. One such move is to set up under water robots. With this, it will be possible to predict low pressure, storms and likeliness to rain. Scientists are involved in these works together with the University of East Anglia and scientists of National Marine Research Centre of South Amtan.

All of them are set to travel from Chennai on 24th of this month. They are to travel in Sindhu Saadhana ship. Mr Rajeevan, the secretary of ministry of earth sciences announced regarding the same.
