Nissan cut down prices of the automatic transmission variant of its hatchback Micra on June 17. The premium hatchback is now Rs. 54252 lesser because of the increased parts localisation.
Previously, the Micra CVT Automatic XL was priced at Rs. 6,53,252. Now, the car will be available for Rs. 5,99,000. The Micra Automatic CVT XV was previously Rs. 7,19,213. It is now Rs. 45,713 lesser and is available for Rs. 6,73,500. All the prices are ex showroom Delhi.
Speaking about this, a senior executive of Nissan Motor India said, As Micra is produced right here in India, we are able to better serve the market in terms of faster, more efficient delivery and improved localisation levels. This allows us to pass on these benefits to our customers in the form of a revised, even more competitive price for our popular premium hatchback.
As per ARAI tests, the Micra CVT gives a mileage of 19.34 km per litre. The Micra was the first locally produced Nissan model in India with production starting in 2010 at the Renault-Nissan Alliance plant in Chennai.
