Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google has become prey to hackers as his Quora account got hacked last night by a group. This team of hackers has named themselves OurMine . This has happened within just one month of Mark Zuckerberg’s hacking and there was similar fate for boss Daniel Ek as well.
The hacking was apparent on looking at posts on Pichai’s Quora that referred to belong to OurMine group on the official Twitter page on Sunday night. While the hackers got access to Daniel Ek’s Twitter account, it is not so for Pichai’s Quora.
While there are advancements and developments in the world of internet, there is substantial increase in hackers who phish into user accounts without passwords. They mainly target accounts of celebrities and famous personalities.
On getting hacked, Sundar Pichai’s account was brought back to normalcy. Tweets made by the hackers were then erased, according to sources.
It is still a mystery about how these hackers phish into their accounts. While passwords of such celebrities could be easily hacked, the security of normal user accounts is imperative!
