2-year extension of service accorded to the Commissioner of The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department

A 2-year extension of service has been accorded to Mr. Veerashanmugamani, Commissioner of the Department of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department who alos has an additional charge as the Secretary of the department.
The extension order was given by the Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Friday, 1st July.
Mr. Veerashanmugamani was appointed as the commissioner of this department in March, 2015. He was also given an additional charge as secretary of the Art-Culture Hindu religious and charitable endowments department.
Mr. Veerashanmugamani joined the IAS cadre in 1999. He has 17 years of service. So, he retired from services on 30th June. Now, an extension of 2 years in this post has been accorded to him. This order was released by the Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
