Candidates crave for ECE- BE counselling

A week has passed after the BE single window counselling began. At this juncture, right from the beginning, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) emerged as the preferred course. So far 4331 candidates have chosen ECE, Counselling for the general category will go on till 21st July.
So far 26273 candidates had attended the counselling. Only 19117 candidates selected the course. 7081 did not participate in the counselling. 75 candidates who participated in the counselling did not choose any course.
4331 candidates have been admitted in ECE courses while 3167 candidates were admitted in the BE Computer Science. 3102 candidates were admitted in BE Mechanical course.
45 candidates have chosen Tamil medium BE Civil Engineering and 44 candidates have chosen Tamil medium BE Mechanical Course.
