Today Rains are expected in Chennai and suburbs

After close miss yesterday, lets check Chennai`s luck today. These rains are always hit or miss type. Whatever conditions that remained yesterday remains today too. When sea breeze moves in, and if it meets existing storms like yesterday we can expect to blooming of storms. Further update on Chennai only if storms form.
Mumbai rains will reduce from today / tomorrow (however moderate - light rains will continue) and will rise again from weekend when the monsoon low moves inland and triggers the arabian branch.
Bengaluru will get light rains mostly will remain cloudy and pleasant. Valparai and Nilgiris areas will continue to get rains in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile mettur dam gets the highest inflow this year of 4000 cusecs.
